About the Owner
Emily grew up with Dobermans and learned early the value of a furry companion. She got her first dogs while still
in college and hasn't looked back. She is a confessed dog adict and loves it! She started walking dogs as a hobby that turned
into a full time job. Emily's dog Sand got her interested in behavior when she began showing signs of dog aggression. Emily is
proud to be one of the few dog walking companies that openly accepts these aggressive dogs as clients.
Emily is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer and a Senior Instructor at The Anti-Cruelty Society's School of Dog Training.
In her many years at The Anti-Cruelty Society she has taken on numerous roles, including working
in the Animal Behavior and Training Department and the Bully Buddies Program. She also helps
teach agility at various facilities in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
Emily actively competes with her five dogs in Agility, Rally-O, Obedience, and Tracking.
She enjoys the thrill of being in the ring and the chance to achieve new titles. She has achieved
national rankings with both of her Labradors in APDT Rally-O along with one of the highest titles APDT
Rally-O offers. Training is always a work in progress, you are never done.
Emily's clan consists of Bailey Morgan, a mixed breed; Sand, a Labrador; Toby, a Basset Hound;
Kayla, a Labrador; and The Dude, a Basset Hound.
